It's time for a supercalifragilisticexpialidocious-natural new blog

So here I am, back with a new blog. This time though things are going to be quite different.

After finishing off my 900 day Doctor Who marathon, the idea of blogging anything else filled me with dread. However as the months have passed I've actually found myself starting to miss it. As such I decided to start a new blog. This time though there would be none of this "one episode every day" nonsense from the Doctor Who days. This time I am going to watch the chosen series as my own leisurely pace. I.e I'm going to watch an episode whenever the hell I want! Ok!!

Since I've now taken away one of the biggest challenges from the last blog, this blog will be about a television show that I have never seen before and actually may not even like! That being said, I pledge to force myself to watch every single episode even if I find it absolutely God awful!

So which show am I going to be watching you probably aren't asking yourself. Well if the title hasn't already given it away, I shall be watching Supernatural. It seems the right fit for a blog for two reasons:

My first reason is that Supernatural is often considered by the fan community to be one of three shows in a sort of holy trinity. Those being Supernatural, Doctor Who and Sherlock or "Super Who-Lock" as people like to refer to it as. I've no idea why. Now I've obviously watched Doctor Who (did I ever mention that?) and Sherlock has also been watched (only 9 episodes so not really worth a blog) so therefore Supernatural is the one show I'm missing out on.

My second reason for choosing Supernatural is that Leanne lent me the DVD of the first season so I don't have to buy it. Bonus!

So here it is then. The new blog. Posts on here may be few and far between as I find time to watch an episode and then blog about it. However the advantage of that is that I will find time to actually read through what I've typed and find all those spelling mistakes and grammatical errors that dogged the Doctor Who blog. I really should go back and correct all those mistakes one day, but that would mean reading through my seemingly endless ramblings and I'm not quite sure I'm ready for that.

So here we go! (there will now be an interlude of several weeks until I get round to watching the first episode).
